David had been an avid photographer ever since he was old enough to hold a camera. One day he realized that although he had taken a large number of great photos, they were mostly the result of luck. He knew nothing about f-stops, shutter speeds, lighting techniques, blah, blah, blah. To increase his skill level, David enrolled in the Commercial Photography program at the College of Southern Nevada and developed a strong technical foundation in many areas of photography.
The world of fashion photography came knocking at David's door when a few friends requested that he photograph them dressed for a night on the town. His "fashion" photos became quite popular and David started receiving phone calls and referrals from models and aspiring models requesting photo shoots.
Although he slightly favors shooting fashion and portraiture, David thoroughly enjoys all types of photography. He has been hired to shoot weddings, special events, architecture, products and locations. In 2004, he was one of two photographers hired to photograph a wedding for "The Casino", a FOX TV reality show created by Mark Burnett of "Survivor" fame.
David continually pores over magazines, books, and the Internet to enhance and re-evaluate his photographic vision and skills. In his spare time David enjoys snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, off-roading, eating sushi, watching movies, and NASCAR®.
